I would like to start off with a quick reminder that I am no longer taking on new bookings for the remainder of 2014 (with the exception of my Christmas mini sessions which have not been officially announced yet). In fact, my schedule for the remainder of the year is a tad bit nuts so I appreciate all of your patience while I get through everyone's post processing as quickly as I can without jeopardizing quality. That being said, I am completely humbled by the interest in my work and the number of people wanting to schedule their sessions with me, I truly wish that I could take you all on and get to know each and everyone of you, however unfortunately I haven't yet figured out how to clone myself ;) Also, for 2015 I will be carefully planning out my schedule and strictly abiding by it to avoid over booking (which I am notorious for) so be sure to always think ahead and book early to avoid disappointment if I am unable to fit you in.
Okay enough of that boring stuff! On with the Millett family :)
I was contacted by Jenny one day and she completely tugged at my heartstrings when she asked if I was able to squeeze her family in for a family session as soon as possible because they had just got the dreaded news that her grandfather is terminally ill. I obviously didn't have to think twice about this one - we were making this happen come hell or high water! So they chose their location (Halls Harbour) and away we went. It was a beautiful day, although the sun was a bit too bright for my liking while shooting a session and it was difficult not to have it shining right in their eyes, but we made it work.
Emotions were understandably high that day, but you can tell that this family is so incredibly strong and they did amazing. Thank you Millett family for giving me the honour to photograph these precious memories for you <3
Here are a few photos from our day...
Much Love <3
