I know I have been a little slow with the blog posts lately, it's been nuts over here and I have been scrambling to get relatively caught up before Easter weekend so that I can spend some quality time with my family. I had to take a quick break though so that I could make sure Jeff & Lacey made it to the blog :)
Jeff & Lacey came to meet me at the studio a couple of weeks ago to do the first part of their maternity session. They were so great! They were so patient with my fiddling of the new camera - they were the first clients that I was brave enough to test it out on because I am still trying to get a feel for where everything is on it. The motions, which became second nature for me on my old camera, are causing me to really slow down with my MarkII. But hey, sometimes slowing down is a good thing! Right?
After a little bit of time in the studio we hopped into our cars and headed to Windsor. I had stumbled upon this awesome location while picking up our family's furry little bunny trio and fell in love with it immediately! I knew it wouldn't be long before I found myself shooting there. Jeff & Lacey graciously accepted my request to shoot at this location and I am so glad they did!
This lovely couple is due to have their first baby in a little over a week and I am thrilled, not only because they have asked me to do their newborn photos, but also because I can just tell they are going to be such wonderful parents.
Best of luck you guys and I will be seeing you again very soon :)
Here are a few moments from our session.
I am a proud Mommy of two beautiful children, loving wife to the most amazing life partner a gal could ask for and I am in love with photography.
